Standard Mileage Rates for 2013

On November 21, 2012, the Internal Revenue Service issued the 2013 mileage rate used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business. Beginning on January 1, 2013, the standard mileage rate for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be 56.5 cents per mile for business miles driven.

This is an increase of 1 cent per mile from the 2012 rate.
2)  Q How do I sign up for Auto Paycheck Deposit (APD)?

Contact the payroll department to request the AUTOMATIC PAYROLL DEPOSIT AUTHORIZATION AGREEMENT. A voided check and an original signature is required.
3)  Q How do I cancel Auto Paycheck Deposit (APD) if I am changing banks?
A
Contact Melodie Dean (Classified) at extension 1056 or Monica Chapman (Certificated) at extension 1050 in Payroll to cancel the current APD on file.
4)  Q How do I sign up or make a change to my 403(b) and/or 457(b)?
A
Download the Salary Reduction Form (SRA) [Click the FISCAL SERVICES DOCUMENTS tab on the left side of this screen and open the PAYROLL folder to find the form.]. After you have completed the SRA, fax it directly to Envoy Plan Services at (877) 513-2272. (Complete processing instructions and contact information is provided on page 2 of the SRA.)
5)  Q What are the current Developer Fees (Level 1/Statutory Developer Fee) in the Lucia Mar Unified School District?
A
Effective May 6, 2013, the Developer Fees will be $3.20 per square foot for residential development and $0.51 for commercial/industrial development.

The State Allocation Board (SAB) approved this increase in Level 1 Developer Fees on January 25, 2012. The LMUSD Board of Education approved a 2012 Developer Fee Justification Study and a Resolution to increase Level 1 Developer Fees justified by that study on March 5, 2013.
