Community Service

All students are required to complete a minimum of 20 Community Service hours as a part of the AGHS Graduation Requirements.  Students are encouraged to find opportunities to volunteer at non-profit organizations in the community that they feel a connection to.  The attached list below can help you get started.  Please check the bulletin or see Ms. Palacios or your counselor for more ideas.

We are proud to say that many of AGHS's civic-minded students complete well over the 20 hours required.  In fact, each year, we have students who complete over a hundred hours!  In support of these students, many of our local scholarship donors select students who have demonstrated this type of engagement.
