The deadline for parents to turn in their intra-district transfer requests for next school year is May 20^th. The deadline is earlier than previous years in an attempt to satisfy more requests and to adequately staff schools. A random lottery will be held in June, and parents will be notified about their requests in August. Students must be registered and attending their neighborhood Lucia Mar school to be eligible for a transfer. Multiple requests can be made and prioritized. Transfer applications can be picked up and dropped off at your neighborhood school. Applications are now being accepted for the 2011-2012 school year.
