In a nine week collaborative program with California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, Nipomo High School sponsored the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) program.
The PIQE program works to create a community in which parents and educators collaborate to transform each child's educational environment, both at home and at school, so that all children can achieve their greatest academic potential. During the past 21 years, PIQE had graduated more than 450,000 parents from its parent involvement and engagement program and impacted more than 1,500,000 students.
The PIQE program was a nine-week program held every Tuesday evening in the NHS Library; March 15th through Graduation on May 17th; supporting LMUSD 2020 Vision Framework and promoting College and Career Readiness!
Students joined parents on the last evening to support their efforts and commitment to their education at Nipomo High School. Congratulations to the graduates and their proud children!
