The mission of the Paulding Middle School Library is to ensure that all of our students are effective users of information and ideas, in a setting where a love of reading is promoted and lifelong learning is encouraged.

VISION STATEMENT

The Paulding Library has shifted from the traditional hub of the school to "Library Media Center." Technology will connect the library to the classroom, the classroom to the library and the library to the home. A Paulding student will have an information-rich environment accessible through electronic and printed resources. The books, magazines and research materials will be current, abundant and varied. The electronic media will include internet access to research databases and other technologies. The Library Media staff and instructional staff will be the facilitators of the media-rich network. They will function together to teach the student how to use the facilities and how to properly search for and use information. Together, they will teach the students how to use and analyze information to become critical thinkers.
