Mission Statement
The mission of the Lucia Mar Adult Education Program is to provide an enriched learning environment with high-quality, easily accessible educational programs that give South San Luis Obispo County adult learners opportunities to attain lifelong learning goals.

Purpose of Adult Education
In California, adult education is designed to meet the elementary and secondary educational needs of adults who are 18 years of age and older. It provides opportunities to acquire knowledge and become proficient in using skills that will assist them in becoming more effective citizens, employees, parents, and individuals.

Our Winter/Spring Catalog 2013 is ready for viewing!  Registration begins early this year on DECEMBER 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM.

We've added some great new classes this year such as SOCIAL MEDIA, NUTRITION, and lots more!

Also, something new, we have GIFT CERTIFICATES available, just in time for the holiday season.  So, go ahead, and give someone the Gift of Education... it's definitely a gift that keeps on giving!

If registering in the office, you can save time by downloading and completing the Student Registration form below.   CASH or CHECK only in the office; use Visa or MasterCard for online registration.

To avoid class cancellations, it's a good idea to sign up at least one week prior to the start of classes.  This ensures you a seat in the class and notifcation of any possible class changes.
